“Photography: Painting and Drawing with Light”
INTRODUCTION
Another wonderful photography adventure opportunity to set about photographing a glorious sunrise at Williamstown, Victoria – Australia. It’s New Year’s Day 2021 and as we wondered along the Bay Trail Walk, looking across Port Phillip Bay towards anchored yachts and boats, and the Melbourne City Skyline – couldn’t help feeling good! And at this time in the morning, only keen walkers and photographers could be seen, so peaceful!
Above Photography: The above seascape photograph was taken during the blue hour and at high tide which meant I was able to capture beautiful sunrise reflections in at the shoreline. The sky rapidly changed in colouration as the sunrise developed. A truly magical early morning experience, the temperature was mild and with little to no wind it made for a pleasant seaside environment indeed.
Below Photograph: The seascape photograph below was taken just upon the sun rising over the landscape to the right of the photograph. Now the warm tones emerged across the lower clouds, and across the still Port Phillip Bay waters. Once more, beautiful reflections in the foreground help create this magnificent shoreline image.
CONCLUSION
Photography is just another way to improve one’s sense of wellbeing and at the same time – be creative. Being out-and-about experiencing the natural wonders of the world and the creatures it inhabits is a real privilege for sure. It really does rejuvenate the body and soul.
