INTRODUCTION

We decided this time to venture back to a beach location. I wanted to capture some sunrise images before summertime was over here in Melbourne, Australia.  Sorrento Jubilee Point and Blairgowrie Spray Point proved to be wonderful photography adventure locations. The mild summer morning with little to no wind, golden yellow-orange sunrise help to colour the sky in varying beautiful blues. Just a lovely peaceful way to spend an early morning with the world as it wakes up! NB:  On the following weekend, we visited Sorrento Back Beach just before the predicted coastal storms arrived on the scene.

Below Photograph: The below seascape photograph was taken at Sorrento, Victoria – Australia Sorrento Back Beach. Here I captured a beautiful beach scene inclusive of visiting tourists as they walked along the sandy beach and while others played and explored the rockpools.

CONCLUSION

Photography is just another way to improve one’s sense of wellbeing and at the same time – be creative. Being out-and-about experiencing the wonders of the world and the creatures it inhabits is a real privilege for sure. It really does rejuvenate the body and soul.

INTRODUCTION

This photography adventure with hubby was just a short stint from home, up towards an area called Beveridge, Victoria – Australia.  There I took some photographs of a glorious sunset that could be seen from the local Golf Course.  Positing myself looking over the white rose bushes, over the pruned green golf course, and up towards the mountain range in the distance, we were able to view, a beautiful golden sunset.  The evening was warm for an autumn nightfall which meant, standing at this location was very pleasant.  Hubby and I afterwards then also enjoyed a pizza at the Golf Course Bistro – the end to a perfect day!

PHOTOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED

During this landscape photography exercise – I used a compact system camera, a Sony A7 Mark II – Full Frame with a Sony A FE24-240mm F3.5-6.3 OSS Lens. For these photographs I used the camera mounted on a tripod with a remote timer.  I also used my Apple iPhone 8 Plus mobile phone for quick spontaneous photographs and gain GPS location readings.

THE PHOTOGRAPHS – Day One!

On my return home, I downloaded all the photographs into Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.  I developed a small selection of photographs During the process of developing them I was able to see what I needed to address during my next photographic adventure.   Please find both above and below, the best of what I took during this photography adventure!

THE PHOTOGRAPHS – Two One!

On an other occasion, I had the opportunity to take more photographs at this location but further along from the original spot.  Here, we spotted kangaroos resting, feeding and just taking in the end of day moments I feel…
