“Painting and Drawing with Light”
INTRODUCTION
Spending time with people who have the same interests can be a rewarding experience especially when out and about in nature. One of my favourite places to visit near my home is Woodlands Historic Park (Victoria – Australia). Over many years now I have spent a lot of time wandering through the woodlands with my family discovering its hidden secrets to photograph.
Recently my hubby and I had a lovely outing with the Craigieburn Camera Club members at Woodlands Historic Park. We took a long walk from Woodlands Historic Park Bridge (off Somerton Road) and along a track leading up to Woodlands Homestead. It was a beautiful day that allowed members to photograph different types of photography e.g., birds, animals, insects, plants, woodlands, trees, and historic buildings. At the Historic Homestead, we stopped for a well-deserved coffee and snack. Below are some of the images I managed to take during this outing.
CONCLUSION
Photography is just another way to improve one’s sense of well-being and at the same time – be creative. Being out and about experiencing the natural wonders of the world and the creatures it inhabits is a real privilege for sure. It really does rejuvenate the body and soul.
